Vicky Tompkins, MS, LMFT has over twenty years of experience working in the behavioral health field. With a strong mastery of, and certification in, Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) during her tenure at a local agency, Vicky has extensive hands-on experience in solving complex family-relational issues and addressing adolescent substance use.
Vicky enjoys working with individuals to achieve their goals related to depression, anxiety, life stressors, low self-esteem, and many other areas. She also works with couples to strengthen their relationship, cultivate mutual understanding, and develop healthier patterns of communication. Vicky has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Vicky is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is proven effective in relieving trauma as well as other conditions.
Throughout her career, Vicky has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both outpatient and in-home settings. Her background also includes experience collaborating with community providers to ensure quality care for clients.
